About us
Five specialists in Chinese Medicine work at our practice – each with many years of experience in their respective fields. We look forward to putting this experience to use for you and your wellbeing. Appointments are made directly with the doctors/therapists.
TCM
... stands for Traditional Chinese Medicine, a healing art that emerged in China over 2,000 years ago and has continued to evolve ever since. It comprises of the five therapeutic methods of acupuncture/moxibustion, medicinal therapy, lifestyle counselling, dietetics, and qigong, taiji and tuina massage.
Insurance Cover
Treatment by the physicians is covered by basic health insurance (Grundversicherung), while treatment by the naturopathic practitioners is covered by supplementary insurance for alternative medicine (Zusatzversicherung für Komplementärmedizin). The prescribed Chinese herbal formulas are likewise covered by the supplementary insurance. The Chinese medicines are supplied by Complemedis and St. Peter Apotheke.

Our Philosophy
Through our professional backgrounds and many years of practical experience, we are familiar with both the possibilities and the limits of Chinese medicine. Together with you, we decide whether Chinese medicine should be used on its own or in addition to ongoing medical treatment. For this we draw on all available medical findings. If necessary, we arrange further examinations or refer you to specialists. If you wish, we will of course also inform your family doctor.
Our team works in a climate of trust. This allows for exchange, inspiration, critical questioning and mutual support. Our varied professional development and training paths have given rise to a network of doctors, lecturers and research groups in Switzerland, Europe, the USA and China, which continually supplements and updates our knowledge.
