Chinese medicine was not something I was born into professionally, yet from childhood I have been familiar with Chinese dietary therapy, ways of living, and approaches to maintaining health and well-being.

As an interpreter for TCM doctors in clinical practices, courses and seminars, as well as in clinical and theoretical training at the teaching hospital of the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I gained extensive insight into both the theory and practice of TCM over many years.

Throughout more than 30 years of working in my own practice, my therapeutic approach has continued to evolve through experience, ongoing professional development, and encounters with different medical traditions. I treat and support people with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including pain of various origins, sleep disorders, states of exhaustion and psychological distress, as well as providing support during pregnancy and childbirth.

Working together with my patients is particularly important to me. I believe that everyone can contribute to improving their own health and quality of life. I aim to support them in this process through TCM dietary advice, as well as instruction and coaching in breathing, posture and Qigong exercises.

Even after many years of therapeutic work, I want to remain curious and continue learning. I continue my studies with different professors of TCM and acupuncture, Qigong and Taiji teachers, and experienced Tuina physicians. Different perspectives, experiences and traditions enrich my work and help me to support each patient individually — while allowing me, too, to keep moving, learning and evolving.
